Our Shoeboxes go to Women Accessing the Following Agencies:
Vancouver Local CoordinatorsTERRI GIBSONI am a wife, mother, and pharmacist currently living in the community of Maple Ridge. Born and raised in rural Saskatchewan, education and career changes gave my family and I the opportunity to live in six beautiful Canadian cities over the past ten years, with British Columbia’s coast being our favorite of all. My volunteer and fundraising history spans more than a decade, from painting custom window murals for care homes during the holidays, to designing luxurious Christmas tree displays for the Saskatoon Festival of Trees, to helping coordinate large-scale fundraising benefits. I strongly believe in transforming passion for a cause into action, to ‘not just talk but do,’ and to use the skills, talents, and resources available to us to make the world a better place. I am delighted to be serving The Shoebox Project and being part of the cause of empowering women to persevere with grace and dignity, even through
the most difficult of times. IN THE NEWS!
