I work full-time as a Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care. I am a wife and proud mother to three daughters and an advocate for improving access to healthcare. As a child, I grew up with a strong interest in helping others which was fostered by my parents and maternal grandparents. I recall collecting donations from my family to purchase groceries for a family in need at Christmas at a mere age of 10 and first volunteered at a local Food Bank with my grandmother while in middle school. I love art and am well-known for my homemade cards- which aligns perfectly with the Shoebox project's vision to supply hand-written notes with all of our Shoeboxes.

Make a Shoebox

Each Shoebox is special and made unique with your personal touch. It's fun and rewarding and every Shoebox helps a woman experiencing homelessness remember that she is loved and valuable.

Become an Organizer

Making a Shoebox is a great activity to do with your friends, family, coworkers, or any other group of people in your life! Host a party and do something good. Every Shoebox counts!
