The Bathurst Shoebox Project

Thank You for your support!

Thank you to everyone who supported our Virtual Shoebox Drive in 2020! We are so grateful that we were able to provide gifts to local women impacted by homelessness during this particularly difficult time.

The drive is now over until next holiday season, but you can support our efforts all year long!

Here's how you can help in the off-season:
  • Create a Virtual Shoebox
  • Make a Donation to our Local Chapter
  • Get your Company Involved
  • Fundraise for our Local Chapter

100% of your donation will go toward purchasing gift cards and essentials for local women impacted by homelessness.

Our Shoeboxes go to Women Accessing the Following Agencies:

Maison de Passage House
Born in Ontario, I moved to the province of Quebec at the age of two. I lived there for 37
years before moving to Bathurst last year. Mother of five wonderful children, I now live in the Acadian Peninsula with my beloved wife and our two youngest kids. Since I was a teenager, I’ve always been motivated by helping others in different ways. My strongest desire was to be a kind of fairy godmother who would have the mission of recognizing the value of others, by showing them appreciation of who they were and what they accomplished. Moreover, the feminine condition has interested me for a long time. So, I have been working in perinatal for several years. When I moved to Bathurst, I immediately wanted to get involved in my community. When I found out about The Shoebox Project, I knew it was the perfect fit for me: providing recognition of
the importance and the value of homeless women around me, by supporting and letting
them know how important and loved they are.
